The Vision Fitness T9450 Elite is an amazing folding treadmill.  It is the top of the line in terms of specification and caters easily for those users who want both a solid, dependable, no frills running machine and also those with a greater penchant for pushing their fitness levels to the max with a vast array of interactive programmes.

Whether you want to customer design your own or make use of one of the many pre determined ones available there really is something for everyone.  Unique to Vision Fitness, their Sprint 8 interval training program is a 20 minute anaerobic challenge which adjusts both speed and incline at the same time during 30 second sprint sections with a minute and a half recovery time in between. This creates in Vision’s own words “the perfect fitness solution.”

With many levels of difficulty available I tried this one and have to say that by the 5^th interval I was really starting to “feel the burn” and loved the fact that there was no need to touch any buttons during the workout as the treadmill takes care of all the adjustments simply providing a visual and audible warning when the intensity is about to change.

As a wireless polar chest strap is supplied with the treadmill you can really make the most of the various heart rate control programmes and gain the most accurate feedback possible.  Despite the sophistication of the console I felt that it was really very easy to use with a great prompting feature asking you for any relevant information.

There are one touch buttons to control speed and incline and the large colourful LED display keeps you right up to date with all your workout information.  I noticed that when running on this treadmill there wasn’t even a hint of frame vibration, even when at 10 mph on an 8% incline during my field test.

I was so impressed that it is no exaggeration to say I would place this machine on a par with folding treadmills right at the top end of the market price wise.  The overall build quality of Vision Fitness products is fantastic and they are well known in the industry for their onsite 10 years parts, 5 years labour warranty in addition to a lifetime frame and motor warranty. This means you can purchase this treadmill with complete peace of mind.

In summary then, the T9450 performed so well in all areas of testing I think you would be hard pushed to find a better folding treadmill for the money.  It manages to combine the perfect blend of user comfort, sophistication and build quality that is usually reserved for treadmills considerably more expensive.
